Viva Frida and the Sacred Brush ProjectFrida Kahlo's life and art has played an important role in inspiring women artists around the globe.
Thank you to all the women artists that donated a sacred brush in her honor. The brushes were displayed together as a symbol of unity. It also represented the living artists that have followed in her footsteps and are now living their creative dreams.
As artists our brushes are sacred, they are the tool that brings our inner most ideas to life. 2007 Exhibitions included:
Oakland Museum, Day of the Dead, Community Day Celebration & the De Young Fine Art Museum in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park
